Everyday is a birthday; every moment of it is new to us; we are born again, renewed for fresh work and endeavor.

Violet “Vi” Moore (Carr) and Viola “Vi” Parsons (Carr)–aka the “Carr Twins”–celebrated their 80th birthday on February 7th, 2019. On June 29th, 2019, family and friends will join in the celebration of this special occasion. This page is designed to share that event with those who love and appreciate these two fabulous ladies. Check back occasionally to see new developments and photos of the twins as well as photos of the event.
Vi and Vi are two of the most dedicated, selfless, humble, and generous people (period). The two never miss an opportunity to help those in need — whether it’s feeding and clothing the homeless, making blankets and quilts for disaster victims, writing stories and books to give comfort and inspiration, volunteering in the church and community to share their expertise on a variety of topics … and the list goes on. The two have also been dedicated to their families, have participated in countless family events through the years, and have worked tirelessly to preserve family history (and make it come alive through their writing).
Born at “home,” or to be exact, in a tent, in Buckeye, Arizona, Vi and Vi have given much of themselves and without much fanfare. Until now! This is an opportunity for all of us to give back to them (fanfare in spades!) and recognize their decades of service to their families and communities. We are delighted to honor these two outstanding women.
